If you’re reading this, chances are that you and I have a few of these things in common…

See, I’m someone who struggled desperately with my health and spend years trying to figure out why.

Perhaps you can relate.

10 or 12 years ago I just felt off… And even though my blood tests all looked “normal,” I knew something just wasn’t right.

My doctor put me on multiple medications for things like digestive issues, depression and anxiety, adult ADD, and more.

It wasn’t until I experienced the devastating and frightening side effects of trying to come off of one of the medications did I finally say, “enough is enough.”

I knew there had to be a better way. I knew I wasn’t deficient in Paxil, ya know?

So down the rabbit hole, I went. I studied and researched relentlessly to try and find answers.

I tried many different diets—some worked, some didn’t—but as I improved how I ate, the better I felt.

I started sleeping better. And the better I slept, the better I felt.

I started managing stress better, and the less stressed I became… you guessed it… the better I felt.

I learned that all of the symptoms I was experiencing were connected and they all had one thing in common.

No, they weren’t all in my head as more than a couple of doctors implied.

(Maybe you’ve heard that one, too. How frustrating is that?!)

The common factor was that my gut was a mess, and all these symptoms were a manifestation of that imbalance.

So deeper down the rabbit hole I went, studying everything I could about gut health and the microbiome.

I learned that we’re far more bacteria than human and that those microbes are pretty much running the show.
