While your liver is a crucial organ of detoxification, the way it’s been described on social media is often oversimplified and overlooks a deeper complexity of nutritional requirements that won’t necessarily be solved by a “liver cleanse”. In this presentation, we’re going to dive into the different phases of liver detox with a specific focus on Phase 2 detoxification biochemistry to understand the role key nutrients play in the process. The goal is to help you learn how to “feed your liver” so that Phases 1 and 2 are appropriately balanced AND ready to handle more aggressive work (like gut microbiome imbalances and environmental exposures) without triggering a flare up of your symptoms.
